Disposal and reuse

You should return gas cylinders to the agent or company that you purchased them from for reuse or disposal. Find out more on the Liquid Gas website.

Recycle

You can bring most domestic gas bottles to Suffolk Recycling Centre. Please see site staff who will store the bottle safely.

For smaller gas cylinders used for portable stoves, see "Camping gas bottles". 

Nitrous Oxide Canisters

Small or large nitrous oxide canisters should be taken to recycling centres and disposed of with gas cylinders on site.

Acetylene Gas Cylinders

These gas cylinders are not accepted at any our recycling centres. You should return these cylinders back to the company you purchased them from for reuse or disposal
