Re-use shops

Information about the two re-use shops at Foxhall and Bury Recycling Centres and donating items for re-use.

Charity Re-use Shops at Recycling Centres

You can donate reusable items at all of Suffolk’s recycling centres by putting material in the orange re-use containers or by donating directly to the Charity Reuse Shops. Items donated help to support local charities.

A range of items are accepted for re-use: TVs, monitors, PCs, Sky boxes, DVD players, consoles, laptops, audio equipment , power tools, bikes, Dyson's, Henry’s, mowers, strimmers, small furniture, books and toys as well as other good quality items.

Currently, you must book an appointment to visit any Suffolk Recycling Centre, but you don’t need an appointment to visit or donate at either of the charity re-use shops.

All re-use items recovered from recycling centre sites are sold through the two Charity Re-use Shops at Bury St Edmunds and Foxhall Recycling Centres. The shops raise funds for the The Benjamin Foundation, a charity that who works with young people and families in need of support across Suffolk.

Please note that card payments are preferred at both shops.
