Reuse
Some charities will accept large electrical items for reuse. Find your nearest charity shop.
Recycle
You can recycle large electrical items at a Suffolk Recycling Centre in the large domestic appliance section.
Alternatively, your local district or borough council offers a charged bulky waste collection service.
If you are purchasing a new electrical item to replace an old one, ask whether the shop offers a takeback scheme to recycling your old item. Please make sure any fridge or freezers have been cleared of any contents.
Only domestic type fridge and freezers will be accepted at the site, if you have a industrial type fridge or freezers it will likely be classed as trade waste and may not be accepted due to electrical take back scheme restrictions.
