Compost Awareness Week 2021
The Promoter is: Suffolk County Council (SCC), Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich IP1 2BX
The prize is provided by Hotbin Composting
The prize is as follows:
- I x HOTBIN (100L or 200L depending on winner’s preference)
The rules and how to enter are as follows:
To enter the prize draw all you have to do is email the answer to the question ‘How hot does a HOTBIN get?’ to email@example.com
Label the subject of your email ‘HOTBIN competition’.
The judging criteria: The winner will be chosen at random from the valid entries received in the Suffolk recycling waste management inbox.
The competition is open to residents of Suffolk aged 18 years or over except for employees or close relatives/associates of:
- Suffolk County, District and Borough Council waste teams.
- FCC or Benjamin Foundation
The competition is open from Wednesday 5 May at 9:00am.
Closing date for entry will be Wednesday 19 May 2021 5:00pm.
After this date, no further entries to the competition will be counted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
One winner will be chosen by the Promoter, SCC, and be awarded the full prize. The winner will be notified and confirmed by email. This will be done within 14 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
Delivery will be made to a domestic address in Suffolk only. SCC’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. The winner agrees to the use of their name, the quote they provide and any photography taken to be used in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
SCC shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
SCC reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
